В современном глобальном мире, носящем меткое название “всемирная деревня”, всё больше людей хотят не пассивного времяпровождения за экраном компьютера или телевизора, а новых позитивных впечатлений, которые дают путешествия в новые интересные места. И тут у потенциального путешественника разбегаются глаза от разнообразия стран, городов, маршрутов и поездок. Можно, конечно, в наш компъютерный век заглянуть на любой сайт, ознакомиться с техническими данными, полюбоваться фотографиями и решить вопрос на месте. Однако осознанный выбор лучше сделать, пообщавшись глаза в глаза с представителями принимающей стороны. Именно этой цели и служат международные туристические ярмарки, такие как IMTM, проводимые в Тель-Авиве в комплексе Ганей Тааруха.
In the modern global world, bearing the apt name of the “world village”, more and more people do not want passive pastime behind a computer screen or a TV set, but new positive impressions that give trips to a new interesting places. And then the potential traveler’s eyes are fleeing from the diversity of countries, cities, routes and trips. You can, of course, in our computer age look at any site, get acquainted with the technical data, enjoy the photos and solve the problem on the spot. However, it is better to make an informed choice, having communicated eyes with representatives of the host party. This is precisely the purpose of international tourism fairs, such as IMTM, held in Tel Aviv in the Ganei Taaruha complex.
На сей раз это была уже 24-я по счету и прошла она 6-7 февраля в самом большом корпусе выставочных павильонов. Всего в выставке принимали участие представители примерно полусотни стран: немало авиакомпаний, а также много израильских фирм, отелей, кибуцев, др. туристических объектов, муниципалитеты таких городов, как Тель-Авив, Герцлия, Ришон ле-Цион, Арад, Эйлат, Цфат. Павильоны были красочно оформлены талантливыми руками художников и демонстрировали виды богатой природы, либо великолепной архитектуры.
This time it was already the 24th exhibition in a row and it was held on February 6-7 in the largest building of the exhibition pavilions. A total of about 50 countries took part in the exhibition, including many air companies, as well as many Israeli companies, hotels, kibbutzes and other tourist sites. municipalities in such cities as Tel Aviv, Herzliya, Rishon Lezion, Arad, Eilat and Zefat. Pavilions were colorfully decorated with talented hands of artists in the form of rich nature, or magnificent architecture.

Среди огромного количества участников, особо заметны были представители Кипра, Чехии, Франции, Грузии, Венгрии, Японии, Филиппин, Шри Ланки, Танзании, Южной Кореи, Польши, Румынии, Болгарии, Испании, Литвы, Латвии, Украины, России, Турции, Албании, Мальты, Непала.
Among the huge number of participants, there were representatives of Cyprus, the Czech Republic, France, Georgia, Hungary, Japan, the Philippines, Sri Lanka, Tanzania, South Korea, Poland, Romania, Bulgaria, Spain, Lithuania, Latvia, Ukraine, Russia, Turkey, Albania , Malta and Nepal.

Хотелось бы отметить национальные танцы представительниц Доминиканской республики, а также Румынии и национальные одежды (кимоно) японцев.

Политика политикой, а деловая дипломатия побеждает! Ещё одним доказательством этого постулата стало участие ряда мусульманских стран. Широко были представлены страны бывшей Югославии (Сербия, Словения, Хорватия, Македония). Можно было видеть компании Норвегии, Бельгии, Парагвая, Марокко, Индии, Таиланда, Ганы, Эфиопии, Тайваня и др. Вообще же по представленным на выставке странам можно было изучать глобус. Мы наведались в павильоны стран Африки и американского континента. От фотографирования и интервью пелефоны быстро разряжались, но в лобби выставочного центра имелась возможность их подзарядить и продолжить работу. Один из нас был на выставке и во второй день, что оказалось полезно, поскольку сумел пообщаться со многими из тех, с кем не получилось накануне. В результате набралось огромное количество снимков, которые после обработки можно увидеть в большой публикации о выставке.
Хочется отметить, что впервые за ряд лет не участвовала делегация Беларуси, что наталкивает на определенные размышления о сложном положении в стране.
Politics go their way, but business diplomacy comes over! Another proof of this postulate was the participation of a number of Muslim countries. The countries of the former Yugoslavia were extensively represented (Serbia, Slovenia, Croatia, Macedonia). You could see the companies of Norway, Belgium, Paraguay, Morocco, India, Thailand, Ghana, Ethiopia, Taiwan, etc. Generally speaking, the countries represented at the exhibition could help studying the globe. We visited the pavilions of the countries of Africa and american continent. From photography and interviews, the phones were quickly discharged, but in the huge lobby of the pavilion there is an opportunity to recharge them and continue working. Having spent almost the whole day at the exhibition, we met a small stream of visitors at the exit, who decided to visit it after a day’s work. One of us was at the exhibition also in the second day, which turned out to be useful, because I managed to communicate with a number of those who did not work the day before . As a result, a huge number of images were collected, which after processing can be seen in a large publication about the exhibition.
I would like to note that for the first time in a number of years the delegation of Belarus did not participate, which pushes you to think about certain reflections on the difficult situation in the country.
Going around the whole exhibition, communicating with a number of its participants, we suggested some of them to give interviews for the site, while others were asked to send a little information about the companies they represent. In the future, it can be added to the published material or placed in a separate story about the company on contract terms.
